Pharmacology goes well beyond prescribing medications to treat headache conditions. It is the intense study and understanding of drugs; the body's reaction to drugs; the sources of drugs; their nature; and their properties. This distinction makes Dr. Wenzel an integral part of the Diamond Inpatient Headache  Unit’s multidisciplinary approach. His role is to remain flexible and proactive so patients shift into more-stabilized headache management safely and experience the greatest benefits from the medicinal element of their treatment.
